Introduction to combine harvesters.

This course is delivered in two modules.

1. Functional principle of crop flow.

In this module, you will learn how the combine harvester works, using the LEXION as an example. You will learn more about the various steps involved in mowing and threshing, while gaining an understanding of which components perform which functions within the process. At the end of this unit, you will know how to harvest grain with the combine harvester and will be ready to carry out a successful threshing operation. This module will take about 30 minutes.

2. Setting preferences for various crop types and weather and field conditions.

In this module, you will learn about the main settings on your combine harvester that enable you to adjust your machine to suit the prevailing harvesting conditions and the the crop type. N.B.: The aim of the module is not to provide a set list of recommended settings, but to give users a basic understanding of the settings available on the combine harvester. This module will take about 30 minutes.
